Here are a few photos I shot over the weekend in Alpena, MI
First one of the lake. 1:30am photo shoot. I had planned on getting the milky way lined up vertically with the end of the dock, but didn’t realize there would be a bright moon tonight making the stars very hard to see. So I worked with that instead.
SPECS:
15mm f/2.8 @ 30sec ISO 500 with a little bit of a color boost in Light Room.
I’m not really sure how to handle the lens flare ghosts at the moment. Those bother me. Massive photoshop editing perhaps or angling the camera away from the moon might work next time… both not ideal.
The rest of the photos are from the shores of Lake Huron in Alpena, MI shot on July 4.
