I made the trip to the Nashville and Clarksville Tennessee to photograph the Eclipse! Here’s a few of my favorite shots.
I made some color adjustments to this one. A lot of the photos that get published of total eclipses are nearly black and white, but in-person there is a lot of vibrant color the cameras don’t pick up too well. This is my best recreation and composite of what I actually saw with my eyes – and even then, this image doesn’t do the real thing much justice. You have to see it with your own eyes!
I think this moment was cool – just a second before the total eclipse.
My version of the solar eclipse time line from Tennessee. The sky was amazing to watch all afternoon.
This one’s a fish eye photo of me adjusting my camera real quick during the totality. It’s amazing how dark the sky became while the twilight was visible along the horizon in all directions.
Fun times! I’m looking forward to the next Eclipse for the US Midwest in 2024!
