The Front Man With The Most Energy Award goes to… *drumroll* Billie Joe Armstrong! The Green Day concert at Joe Louis Arena was basically like 2+ hours of Billie Joe running laps and jumping around a huge stage with his guitar. Is his secret 5 Hour Energy? Dunno, but such a rad concert and also an awesome light show.
The were over a dozen local photographers for this show, plus security and a few JLA staff packed into the photo pit. It was tight, but we made it work. This was easily one of the most fun concerts I’ve been to in my few years on this blue space rock. Go see Green Day next chance you get!
