Although they’ve been around a while, In This Moment is my new favorite band to take photos of! It’s clear great care was taken to create a very memorable, artistic and theatric concert experience. Everything from the lighting, colors, props and costumes were fantastic. Easily one of my favorite concerts I’ve had the chance to work at. Every song had something interesting (poses, props, lighting) or artistic to photograph. Plus, Maria Brink is extremely photogenic and it was hard to narrow down shots for this set since there were so many good photo ops.
GEAR: I used two Canon bodies and rotated between the Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 and Sigma 15mm f/2.8 fish eye lenses and most photos were probably taken at 1/320 sec, 1000 ISO. The haze and occasionally bright red light was a challenge to work with, but good light over all!
