ABOUT THIS PROJECT: I created hand-drawn chalk marker displays for Independence Market of Clarkston, which were used throughout the space to highlight promotions, guide customers, and reinforce the store’s personality. Each piece required a balance of legibility, speed, and craftsmanship—translating information into clear, engaging compositions under tight turnaround times. This work sharpened my lettering precision, strengthened my hand-drawing skills, and ability to adapt style to context, while reinforcing a core principle I bring to all projects: even the most functional design can elevate an environment when executed with care and intention.
